Leading Nutraceutical brand closes heavily oversubscribed Series A round as it scales aggressively to meet consumer demand.
 
TORONTO, Feb. 17, 2021- Age Quencher® Solutions (“AQ” or the “Company”), a Toronto female founded and led company leading the way in ingestible beauty, announced today that is has closed a $1.2 million Series A round. AQ has secured a diverse base of shareholders for the brand that launched in 2015 as one of Canada’s first ingestible beauty lines to the market. 
 
Founded by Dr. Holly Fennell, ND in 2015 who compounded custom, trusted, high quality formulas to address the inevitable signs and symptoms of aging. Fennell comments “when consumers think of products for aging they turn to serums and creams; we realized quickly that this is not enough. Aging happens at the cellular level and while we can not stop it we can support it and address many of the physical signs associated with aging.”     
 
Quickly gathering a cult following of health and beauty seeking users, Age Quencher has become a trusted and recognized brand across Canada and the United States. AQ recognized early on that while aging is inevitable, how well we age is not. This led to the formulation of a suite of products from Hydration Electrolytes, Vitamins, Collagen Protein and the newest addition to the line, SHROOM Beauty, Functional Mushrooms. All products hold NHP (Natural Health Product) numbers. 
 
Social media has proven an essential sales channel for the company. Age Quencher® manufacturing takes place in a state of the art facility that has a product license from Health Canada and is GMP certified. (Good Manufacturing Practices). This is yet another measure the company takes to ensure quality assurance and that the products are consistently produced and controlled in such a way to meet the quality and standards appropriate to their intended use.
 
AQ has a fully developed ecommerce site allowing customers a seamless, secure shopping experience. The direct to consumer model with a subscription option has allowed for exponential growth in sales. In addition, the company has several strategic retail partners across Canada and the United States. From large chains such as Sport Chek to small boutique shops, retail partners are given a unique “PK” (product knowledge) training experience. The company boasts a return customer rate of between 80-90% proving brand loyalty and result driven products.
